Bored of the multiple and franchised chains of salons that populate the high street and the industry as a whole, 'bob' was born out of a desire to create an environment and experience that reflects the not only the character of the stylists, but the clients which they serve. Individuality is something always celebrated in London and this salon is an haven for such people. The salon opened last year on St Johns Hill in the Brighton Buildings, adjacent to Clapham Junction train station and has drawn much attention (and custom) from the passing commuters on their way to work.

This salon's interior is fresh and contemporary but not so as to alienate any clients and make them feel they do not belong. 'bob' has been conceived to be a social space, encouraging a strong community feel, where all are welcome. It is a place to escape and enjoy some 'you' time in a relaxed way. Whilst the look of the salon is important, the focus of the team is on the clients 'experience, ensuring that everything is done to make this a special and enjoyable visit.

A 'bob' web site is currently being built (its launch will be announced on the street website) and will feature an on-line booking system. Whilst we are used to booking hotels, flights and all manner of services on-line, the hairdressing industry it seems has been dragging its heals on offering what is such a natural service for its clients - bob look forward to delivering this top-end service to its clients. Also, a private gallery will be created for each client, so that you may keep a photographic record of all hair styles and treatments. A good way to remember if you really did have more fun as a blonde... This year bob opened its second salon in Fulham and it has been welcomed by the north of the river community as warmly as the original salon was here in Battersea.
